Reduction is when a vowel in an unstressed syllable
is pronounced /ə, ɪ/ or disappears completely.
In this lesson, we practice:
What do you…? = whaddaya
What are you…? = whaddaya
Now it’s your turn.
Here’s your audio pronunciation quiz.
Fill in the blank with do or are.
