I wonder how an American pronounces…
ache
/eyk/
What is an ache?
It’s when we have a pain that is not sharp but continues for a long time.
We combine these 5 parts of the body + ache to make a new word.
backache = back + ache
earache = ear + ache
headache = head + ache
stomachache = stomach + ache
toothache = tooth + ache
I have a backache.
/ay-hæ-və-ˈbæ-keyk/
I have an earache.
/ay-hæ-və-ˈniy-reyk/
I have a headache.
/ay-hæ-və-ˈhɛ-deyk/
I have a stomachache.
/ay-hæ-vəˈstə-mə-keyk/
I have a toothache.
/ay-hæ-vəˈtuw-θeyk/

Ich habe Schmerz! oder Es tut mir Weh.
Ajmo sad to reć na hrvatskom.
