Sound-Spelling Pattern
/w/ & /y/ + Vowel Sound
All sound units in English begin with a consonant sound.
A vowel sound at the end of a word ends in either /w/ or /y/.
Link the /w/ or /y/ with the vowel sound at the beginning of the next word.
Example
Try it. = /tra - yIt/
Do it. = /du - wIt/
